Inspired by nature and the human form, I strive to create provocative works that spark questions from the viewer and challenge the status quo.
My work explores the fundamental interconnected relationalship between
human beings and nature, with the goal to underscore that vital interdependence.
My challenge is to find new meaning inherent in this human+nature relationship and develop works that either resonate or call into question the current dialogue of the day.
Themes of impermanence and transition inform the direction and content of my work. I find beauty in decomposition and decay, the change of seasons, evolution and the circle of life. From dissolution new life forms are created, and the cycle begins again.
